Day 8

I'm thankful for my job. Today was a really good day at work. One mom called to ask for advice on weaning her TWO YEAR OLD! I'm excited when moms around here breastfeed for a week or a month, so this was a real treat! I also talked to a couple moms that are so ready to make breastfeeding work and sounded genuinely happy that they could call me for help. And one mom that is doing an amazing job breastfeeding her son, but just needed some reassurance. I'm so glad that I was there to answer some of their questions.

I'm thankful for breastfeeding, the grumpy toddler cure.

Day 6

Today I'm thankful that even though It's usually a choice between crappy, crappier, won't win or wont win, I've got the right to vote.

I'm ALSO thankful that Jeremy was born on this day 29 years ago.

Day 5

I'm thankful for my new/temporary work space in the dining room corner. I plan on doing lots of handmade Christmas presents, so it'll be nice not to have milk spilled on my projects at dinnertime.

And now for this cutie. I'm so thankful for my sweet little girl. We waited a long time for her to join our family and she was so worth the wait.

I'm thankful for this boy who was the best surprise of all time. He can be very challenging, but he is also so smart and sweet. I can't believe how fast he is growing up.
